About the Design
Apple Valley Stores has drastically increased their marketing efforts in the years since Oldham Hospitality acquired the brand. They approached Pioneer Media for hosting and maintenance on the brand’s websites.
We converted the Apple Valley Stores website from a less-known CMS to WordPress, which powers 1/3rd of the Internet. WordPress is the most popular Content Management System (CMS) in the world and is incredibly easy to manage.
The website kept the same design as the old site (the former website was very well designed) but now it’s easier for the marketing team to manage on their own, plus we saved them on their website hosting & maintenance costs!
AVS has a Blog that’s mostly designed for the upcoming events. Apple Valley / Dancing Bear regularly host events including live music at the cafe.
Apple Valley’s new website is mobile-friendly thanks to the responsive design. Mobile is crucial because 2/3rd of their web traffic comes from smartphones and tablets – that’s significant! The mobile trend is impossible to miss. Websites must be easy to navigate on the smaller screens. Bonus! Google heavily vouches for and boosts the ranking for mobile-friendly sites, and Apple Valley benefits from that.
Security is key nowadays. https://AppleValleyStores.com is secured with a powerful SSL Security Certificate. Why? Website visitors see a green SECURE / padlock icon next to the domain name. That looks much more trustworthy than a red NOT SECURE label.
Pioneer Media continues to work with Apple Valley Stores to host their website, manage their domain name and email accounts, monitor the website’s uptime, provide analytics tracking data, update the site, secure and back it up regularly.
