Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use https://www.pioneer.media, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control or magnification.
Our goal for this website
Our goal is for https://www.pioneer.media to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This statement applies to this website and was last reviewed on November 7, 2026. It does not describe the websites we build or manage for clients, which are separate sites with their own content and settings.
What we have done on this site
- Every page has a skip link, a single main landmark, labeled navigation and a logical heading order.
- All functionality works with a keyboard, and the keyboard focus indicator is always visible.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text and interface colors are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios.
- Form fields have visible labels, and form results are announced to screen readers.
- Animation is reduced or removed for visitors who set “reduce motion” in their device settings.
- Pages are responsive and work at 200% zoom and on phones, tablets and desktops.
How we test this site
We run automated checks (axe-core) on https://www.pioneer.media at desktop and mobile widths, review the code by hand, and re-test after changes. Automated tools cannot find every problem, so we also welcome reports from the people who use the site.
Known limitations
- Third-party tools. The cookie consent banner, the bot-check on our contact form and embedded videos come from other companies. We configure them as accessibly as we can, but we do not control all of their code.
- Older content. Some blog posts from earlier years contain images or videos that may lack full captions or descriptions. We are updating them over time.
Accessibility for our clients
When we build a new website, we strive to keep accessibility in mind from the start, from clear headings and readable colors to keyboard-friendly navigation and descriptive image text. You can read more in our website accessibility guide. If you already have a website that we now host and manage, it was not necessarily built with these practices, and it is the client’s responsibility to request an accessibility audit. We are happy to run one, but we cannot guarantee the results or that a site will meet any particular accessibility standard.
Feedback
If you run into a barrier on this website, or need information in another format, please tell us the page address and what happened. We respond to most messages within 24–48 hours.
