Passiflora Mosaics

Passiflora Mosaics is the studio of award-winning mosaic artists Fred and Donnell Pasion in Grover Beach, California, who create original mosaic art and teach in-person workshops.

The challenge

Owners Fred and Donnell Pasion had a website built many years earlier to promote their workshops and showcase their work. In 2021 it was time for a complete redesign.

What we built

• The same software, a new theme. We kept WordPress but replaced the theme with a premium modern one and redesigned each page with new content and a fresh, elegant design.
• A brand new logo that debuted alongside the website.
• Secure checkout. An SSL certificate encrypts customer and credit card information, so buying a mosaic workshop online is a secure transaction.
• Responsive design that looks right on every screen size, from ultrawide desktops to smartphones.
• A major infrastructure upgrade. We migrated the site from economy shared hosting to a dedicated high-performance cloud server.
• Ongoing care through our Website Care Service: updates, software patches, daily backups, uptime monitoring, change detection, virus scanning and email hosting.

What the client says

As visual artists and instructors, we desperately needed to update our website. After considering a few web designers, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose Pioneer Media. Right from the start, Leighton was a pleasure to work with. Not only is he extremely friendly, patient, prompt and accessible, he’s a great listener and communicator. And he knows his stuff. He understands your needs and offers creative and relevant solutions. We are extremely satisfied with the work Leighton has done and will continue to do for us and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and knowledgeable web designer.
