Brothers Bedding

Brothers Bedding makes hand-crafted, custom, flippable mattresses, created and sold in Knoxville, Tennessee, with 5 locations in East Tennessee.

The challenge

Brothers Bedding had a website built several years earlier by a local development firm, and over time they needed an affordable, responsive webmaster. Their sales managers, introduced to Pioneer Media through the ITEX bartering organization, understand WordPress and site maintenance well but wanted a dedicated webmaster to supplement and guide their efforts.

What we built

• Initial fixes and optimizations: shopping cart image ratios, removing pages, cleaning out unnecessary plugins and fixing the reviews in the footer.
• A cleaner design across the site, especially the header, plus an improved and modernized mobile version.
• Faster load times through better caching and by removing unnecessary plugins and scripts.
• A new custom homepage featuring HD photography and video backgrounds.
• Ongoing care through our Website Care Service: hosting, backups, security, virus removal, performance optimization, updates and search engine optimization.
