Proffitt & Sons, Inc. is a commercial metal stud, drywall and acoustical ceiling subcontractor founded in 1979 and headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee. It works across the Southeastern United States on commercial, industrial, institutional and specialty construction projects.

The challenge

Proffitt & Sons’ website was built many years ago and housed low-resolution photos of the company’s high-quality construction work. It needed a major reconstruction, and the difference is night and day.

What we built

• Professional photography first. To kick off the upgrade, we recommended a commercial photographer to capture some of the buildings the company has helped construct. The results were astonishing and helped the design process.
• A modern, animated design built around HD photography and well-written copy, powered by WordPress, refined over a few rounds of revisions and photo placement.
• A fluid, mobile-friendly and search engine optimized site that works on every device.
• Ongoing care through our Website Care Service: domain management, hosting, analytics tracking, uptime monitoring, patches, security updates, customer support and daily backups.
