Hall York Design is a full-service design and lifestyle company in Knoxville, Tennessee that covers all facets of custom interior and garden design.

The challenge

Hall York Design had an in-house WordPress.com website from the start of the company, built on a basic blog template that the owners felt had a DIY look. Years later it was time to revamp the site to match the flair and professionalism of their design work.

What we built

• A modern, minimalist design with a black-and-white color scheme that makes the photographs the focal point. Owners Ron and Robert had collected high-quality photographs of their work over the years, which helped the process immensely.
• A portfolio as the featured content. The portfolio page is divided into projects, and each project page has HD photography showcasing the work.
• WordPress so both the Hall York Design and Pioneer Media teams can update the site when needed.
• Responsive design that shines on every device, plus an SSL certificate that encrypts traffic, limits hacking, increases trust and improves search ranking.
• Ongoing management: backups, security, hosting and updates through our Website Care Service.
