Tennessee Urban Forestry Council

The Tennessee Urban Forestry Council (TUFC) is a nonprofit organization supported by members, including businesses, groups and individuals with an interest in urban forestry.

The challenge

TUFC had a website since 1999, but it was custom-coded, so every change had to go through a webmaster. By 2018 it was due for an upgrade.

What we built

• A move to WordPress so the council can make changes through its own login.
• A full content transfer: history, nonprofit programs, resources, news archives, the online store, donation options and much more.
• Secure PayPal checkout on the donation and store pages.
• Mobile-friendly. The modern design fits desktops, laptops, tablets and phones.
• Training. Leighton spent hours teaching the staff how to update the site and add new information.
• Ongoing care through our Website Care Service: support, hosting, security updates, backups, analytics reports and SEO.
